I hope you're all doing well, everyone. Today I've done a new drawing. This one is of the i54 Pink Guitar card. This guitar is very pretty, and I think it would be perfect for a female singer. Or who knows, maybe a rocker. The guitar model is electric, so you won't see that it has a soundbox in the middle. Its sound is actually transmitted through an amplifier, like the ones I've painted here before. What catches my eye about this one is the numerous string holders.
Most of the ones I've painted have one or two string holders, or as they're more informally called, tuners. This one has five. But I'm sure what you're really interested in is seeing how I made the drawing, so I won't keep you any longer. Well, first of all, I started by making the frame for the card. For this, I've gone back to the classic design.
After the frame, I made a large, elongated rectangle in the center. This rectangle will later become the guitar's neck. Following the neck, I painted the body and the neck's tip. Let me show you.
In the details section, I've drawn what would be the tuning pegs for the strings and the stands to keep it upright. Behind the guitar, although you can't see it, is the rest of the stand that in real life would allow it to be placed in that position.
Let's get painting, folks! Now that the sketch is ready, it's time to paint everything. As you can see, I used various shades of blue for the frame and background. The card is a standard design, so blue is the predominant color. For the guitar, I used pink, brown, and black. Here's how it turned out.
The next thing I did was add the strings, the string adjusters, the tuning pegs, and the tremolo arm. I did all of this over the paint because it's much easier than doing it from scratch.
