Greetings, friends from the Hive community! I am very pleased to share a new drawing I’ve created—this time, it’s a guitar. It’s the one featured on the E181 Emerald 7 Strings card from the game Rising Star. As you can see, it’s an "Epic" rarity card. The guitar is absolutely beautiful, with shades of green that evoke emeralds. In today’s drawing, I made green the dominant color, incorporating several different tones. The guitar depicted on the card is an electric one. Let’s get straight to the point: I’ll show you how I put this drawing together. To begin, I sketched the initial frame of the card, which helps me establish the correct proportions for the guitar. I later refined this with bolder black lines—but for now, this is just the initial sketch.
After the frame, I drew the main silhouette of the guitar—starting with the neck, followed by the body, which features that classic electric guitar shape typical of the 90s. It turned out like this:
Next, I drew the headstock at the top of the neck, adding the seven tuning pegs—each one corresponding to one of the seven strings. As you’ll see later, that’s the total number of strings on the instrument.
Now comes the fun part: the coloring process! I won’t bore you with a step-by-step breakdown; instead, I’ll let the screenshots speak for themselves so you can follow the process. I used the same color palette found on the card, as I found the colors truly stunning. I hope you enjoy the process!
