Today, I'm going to show you my drawing dedicated to one of the beautiful cards in the game. I chose R521 JJ50. As you can see, it's a colorful microphone. In the background of the card, you can see some abstract tribal designs that are very pretty and interesting to look at. I chose the most predominant color from those tribal designs to paint the background of the drawing so that it would have a better resemblance to the original. Regarding the microphone itself, I can tell you that it has the classic signature that we all know. I really like its color; it's the first one I've seen in that coconut-colored white.
Now, let's move on to the drawing. I'm going to show you step by step how I did it. It will be fun to see the whole process because you'll see how each area comes to life as I add the details and color. I started by drawing the inner frame of the card, and it turned out like this.
Next, I drew the microphone handle, the central cylindrical part, you know, the one we normally use to hold the microphone or to place it on the tripod, which I've also painted here, if you'd like to see it. It's an old drawing, but you can easily find it. After that, I drew part of the top sphere, the one that contains the internal mechanisms for capturing the voice.
After that, I mostly drew internal divisions. That is, lines to define the parts of the microphone. With that done, it was ready to be painted.
Painting is, as always, my favorite part. I used the exact colors of the microphone in the original card. To do this, I usually open a window with the Paint application, and then use the eyedropper tool to select the color. Then, with that information, I can add it to the application I use for painting, and that way I have a brush with the exact color and can achieve a better result. You'll see how I painted each area now; it's better if you see it than if I just tell you.
