Blessings, colleagues! I'm happy to show you my new drawing. Today I painted a new card from the game. I was inspired by card i275, Electric Blue Viola. This card is an electric violin, and to use it, you need an electric amplifier. This way, you can create a completely different and louder sound compared to conventional violins.
Besides its impressive design, I really like the color they chose for this violin; it makes it look beautiful. I mention this because most of us are used to seeing wooden violins, the classic brown, or dark varnish colors. That's why when something breaks the mold, it looks spectacular.
I'm sure you're eager to hear how I made today's drawing. And if that's what you're hoping for, let me oblige. It all started when I made the frame for the card. You can see it below.
After that previous section, I moved on to creating the violin. I started by digitally drawing the neck of the violin, which is the longest part of the instrument. The violinist presses and slides this area to create the notes. Don't confuse it with the center of the violin; that part is only played with the bow. After the neck, I then created the body and some details to give it more volume.
What followed was adding some details to make it look prettier and more elegant. This is where I added the tuning pegs, the different internal parts of the violin, and of course, some embellishments.
Now all that's left is to paint what I've done so far. As always, I used a color palette very similar to the original card. Here's the process.
