Hello everyone and fellow members of this wonderful community. Blessings to all. My drawing of the day is for a very interesting guitar, interesting both for its appearance and its name. I'm talking about the i301 Candy Bass. This is the candy guitar from Rising Star, and as you can see, I wasn't lying when I said its name was intriguing. And what about the colors? If you look closely, it's cherry-colored. I think it was a wise decision by the artists who created the card to make it that color, as it resembles candy. It reminds me of the cherry or raspberry candies I've eaten in the past, haha. The color is definitely what I like most about this guitar.
As for the guitar model, it's a classic from the 90s, if I'm not mistaken. I remember seeing it in many videos from that era. Of course, not that exact guitar, but one with the same shape and design. The guitar is electric, so it needs an amplifier or frequency modulator to get the most out of it. In future drawings, I hope to find an amplifier that's the same color to complete the collection. If I do, I'll cite this post to link them.
Okay, I started the drawing when I painted the card's frame. I made this frame with the usual design of rounded corners and straight sides. In the bottom center, I added the notch to later put the card's category, which, as you'll see, is common.
The next step was to make the guitar. To do this, I painted the neck first. The neck, if you don't know, is the part you use to hold the guitar by the top. It's also where you press down on the strings while your other hand plays the middle strings. It's just as important as the neck because that's where the notes are created. Once that was finished, I made the guitar body with its characteristic shape. I think for its time it was something like retro-futuristic. I love its design.
In the next step, I added the tuning pegs for the strings at the top. Then the string tensioners, and finally the string holder. These elements are the final details of the sketch before moving on to the next step.
Let's get painting! I used a rich color palette with strong pinks to give it that cherry-like touch. I also used a stronger color on the left side of the guitar to simulate shadow and create a more elegant effect. I added a gray line between the two colors to highlight the color transition. The other parts are a combination of various shades of blue.
Finally, folks, here's the finished drawing. In this final step, I've added the guitar strings, the stamp with the game's name, and several other decorative card details. See you in the next drawing. Blessings.
