Blessings to all my friends! Today I'm going to show you my new drawing, inspired by one of the fantastic cards from the game. I painted card E157, Blueberry Bass. This card features a classic electric guitar in navy blue. I really liked its design, which is why I chose it for today. For example, it has a dark blue bevel on the edges of the guitar body, and the rest of the interior is a lighter blue, like a fill. That combination was my favorite. I used the same technique in my drawing.
In fact, you've already seen a preview on the cover of the drawing. But it will be much more fun to see the whole process, and don't worry, I'll show it to you step by step in a moment. But first, as is my tradition here, I'm going to leave you with a music video made with the musical instrument that the drawing is about, and since we're painting an electric guitar, the music video is about that. Okay, so let's get to the drawing. To begin, I drew the inner frame of the card in Adobe Illustrator. I made it square with curved edges. It looked like this.
Next, I drew the guitar's neck. It's long and rectangular with slightly thinner ends on one side. Following that, I drew the guitar's body. The guitar has a very nice design; it's a classic.
In the next step, I drew the tuning pegs, each mounted on top of the headstock, the part that looks like a spearhead on the neck. In total, this guitar has five tuning pegs. With that, the sketch was finished.
With the sketch complete, all that was left was to add color. You can now see how I did it step by step. Notice that this is where I drew the beveled edge with a dark blue and then filled it in with a lighter blue. It creates a very nice effect. He painted the background first, then the frame, the inner background, and finally the guitar.
To finish the guitar, I added its frets, strings, and string extenders. You can see it now.
