Hello, foodies!
Today after visiting my grandma, my mother and i went to a legendary old style indonesian steak house which located on Gajah Mada Street, West Jakarta. This steak house we heard from many people is legendary so we were curious to try eat here too.

The restaurant was a bit weird, cause it had a small outside area on ground floor that they rented to some foodstalls, so it came like a small food court.

Then we came inside the ground floor of the restaurant.

Thanks God we came lately, cause the waitress on the ground floor said that it was waiting list on lunch time today.

And the restaurant was on 1st and 2nd floor. We came to the 1st floor.

It was a quite large, air conditionered area. It was also clean and neat, but unfortunately some customers at our back were so noisy, cause they talked loudly and disturbing other customers.

The menu

Like the name, joni's steak, their speciality was steak.

We only waited for around 10-15 minutes to get our ordered delivered. The waitress and waiter were kind and nice too.

Our Food

This was my mom's.

She chose 100 gram sirloin steak. Mom chose the mushroom sauce, it tasted savory and sweet. The beef was not too soft, but also not too hard. Mom chose the well done steak. Mom said it was better than we had before in another steak house.

And this was mine

I tried their chicken cordon bleu. It had cheese, bacon and chicken's breast inside, outside it was fried with the bread flour. It had savory flavour but not too salty. Both of us chose the mushroom sauce, which tasted savory and a bit sweet. Both of the steak also had vegetables and potato wedges. The potato wedges were soft and delicious too.
