Hello, friends especially DIY ers!

Last night I made a sweet butterfly, it was easy to make and also so sweet, somehow it reminds me of the watermelon. Now let me share to you how I made it.

Materials & Things needed:

• Pearl origami in peach and green
• Pencil
• Scissors
• Glue stick
• Multi adhesive glue
• Popsickle ice stick
• Black marker
• Pink origami
• Paper punch
• Color pencil in green
• Gold glitter glue

How to make it:

1ST

I started by drawing the heart on the white side of the peach origami. Then I cut two, similar of the same heart. To make it easier, I cut two pieces of the peach origami together. I made bigger heart with the green origami then also cut together two pieces of the paper, you could also use the help of a paper clip to make it easier to cut two similar hearts from two pieces of origami.

2ND

Next, I joined the smaller hearts to the green bigger ones. I only put a bit of glue on it then pasted them together on the popsickle ice stick. Then I cut the oval from the green origami for the head.

3RD

Then, I also made the antennas by using the peach origami. Cutting it then pasted it on the same origami then cut it again, so I got them in double sided color. I rolled them and also pasted them on the stick. I also pasted the oval head to it then drew smiling eyes and a mouth with the marker

4TH

After that, I made two small circles by punching the pink origami then I pasted them on as the cheeks. I also didn’t forget to draw the body lines with the green color pencil.

5TH

Last, I added the gold glitter glue on the peach origami then the sweet butterfly is made up.

Isn’t it sweet like a watermelon?
