Hello, friends especially needleworkers!
On weekend I had some free time so I made this cute mini bear cable holder and also continuing my 3rd WIP (could you guess what?), for the WIP I still haven’t finished it yet, but promise you to finish it this week… so stay tuned.
Now, back to this mini project, although it is only a palm of my hand I needed more time because I changed my mind while I was doing it (I thought blanket stitch was okay at first but I didn’t like the result for the whole part so I changed it to running stitch. Let’s find out how I made it!
approximately 6-7 hours with the mistakes I made, changed mind, but if you could do it right away maybe it only took around 5-6 hours.
Medium
I cut off the mocha felt to make the whole bear body. Trimmed it well, then cut some more for the belly (where I would put the button).
Next, I cut the brown felt for the ears and also hands. I also cut two tiny circles of the pink felt and also a small oval broken white felt. I then did the french knot for two eyes.
I also did a bigger french knot on the small white felt for the nose then back stitched the mouth. After that I sew around with the running stitch for the small white felt. Also I whipped stitch two tiny pink circles for the cheeks. I then sew the button, one on the belly. The other one, I would like to sew on the other closing belly part.
I closed it with another same belly closer part, I called it pocket. I backstitched those pocket to the bear, with the back stitch. Then sew it around with the blanket stitch. Then I tried to make the whole body with the blanket stitch. But wow it was a mess for me.. I didn’t see it quite cute.
So then I decided to released it then sew the running stitch around to finish it.

VOILA, now this mini cute bear is finished. I could use it to hold my earphone. Isn’t it cute?
