Hello, friends especially needleworkers!
Today i would like to share to you the craft i made recently. I made the inisial of my name with the flower embroidery in it too.
Eventhough the beginning there was a little bit drama but i am so glad that i could finish it well and i am quite satisfy with the result. Wanna know how i made it? Well, let's go then...
Project Time: approximately 7 hours
Difficulty: A bit difficult for me
Skills Needed:
- back stitch
- stem stitch
- lazy daisy stitch
- satin stitch
- french knot
- woven wheel stitch
Materials & things needed:
- pattern of the letter with flower on it - you could make it yourselves or browse it just like i did
- phone with flash light
- natural color fabric
- embroidery hoop
- pins
- pencil
- sewing needle
- embroidery threads
How to make it:
1ST
I tried to trace the pattern with the carbon but it didn't work. So then i tried to trace it with the light on the back of the paper with water erasable pen, difficult but then i made a mistake.
2ND
Next, i tried to correct my mistake by erasing it with the water and cotton but it ended unwell.
3RD
But i didn't give up. I trace it again, this time with the pencil. And it ended well. After that, i did the back stitch for the letter with black embroidery thread.
4TH
I then made the stem stitch and lazy daisy for the plant with the olive green color thread.
5TH
Next i stitched the plant with leaves on eucalyptus green thread. This time i used stem stitch and satin stitch. I also did satin stitch for the leaves near the big center flower.
6TH
Then i did the satin stitch again for the big flower in the middle. This time i used soft pink color. And for the pistil, i did french knots with soft yellow thread.
7TH
After that the last thing to do was finishing it with two soft blue roses made of the woven wheel stitch.
VOILA, ta da this is it, flower letter embroidery is finished.
Isn't it pretty?
anyway i haven't decided what will i make with this embroidery so i haven't cut the fabric yet... Any ideas?
Thanks for reading my article, hope you enjoy it and stay tune for more CRAFT things from me!
