How are you all doing today, it's so nice to be here today to share with you how i decorated my friend's hand purse with a fabric flower.
Recently, I made a fabric purse for my friend with handle at the top which was successfully completed but before I delivered it to my friend, I made a fabric flower from scrap fabric to decorate it to give it a beautiful an stylish outcome. This fabric flower can be use to decorate other items like hair clip, hair band, or as an applique to an outfit and so on.
Using a red satin, I cut out 3 circles with the diameter of 3"
The three circles were folded in two and set aside
I placed one piece on the other at the center and it was held together
Using my hand needle and thread, I ran a long stitch at the tip of both pieces and i placed the other piece on it at he middle as well
I continue the long stitch on the last piece and it was gathered together and tightly secured
For the brown leaf under the red flower, I measured and cut out 2 pieces of brown satin fabric with the diameter of 3"
Both pieces were folded in two and secure with a pin
It was folded in two again and I used my hand needle and thread to run a long stitch on the tip then it was tightly secured
The same process was repeated on the other piece and both pieces were placed together
The red rose flower made from red satin was placed on both brown leaves made from brown fabric with my candle gum
This is the final outcome of my beautiful fabric flower made from scrap fabric to decorate my friend's fabric purse for a stylish outcome
The fabric flower was placed on the flip cover of the purse with my candle gum as you can see how beautiful the final outcome is .
