Hello, friends especially needleworkers!

Today i would like to share about my first abandoned project that i am trying to fix recently.. i left this project because i didn't have proper size of the hook that time. So then i bought the bigger size of the hook, only to continue this project.

For this project, i used T-Shirt yarn in blue color, 8 mm size of the crochet hook and some stitch markers (i use the plastic pins). I also needed the measurement tape to measure some length.

The project is quite difficult for me, even it only needed chaining so far.

First i measure 150 cm length of the yarn then left it (to make it simple, i knotted them together). Then i made the slip knot. X on my palm then turned my hand, on the top of my hand i slipped the left yarn to the right with my crochet hook then the knot is done (I did these steps before left it abandoned).

Then, because the chains i made too tight i released them then made 20 chains with the 8 mm hook i already got. Put the mark on the 20th then made another 40 chains. Then i slipped to the 20th chain i had already marked before. After that i chained 9.

I slipped the chain to the 10th chain left of the mark. Made another 9 chain then also slipped to the 10th chain on the left of the 1st. The base of a holder then finished. After that chain 10.

Chained 20 then put another marker, i used orange for this 2nd mark. Chain 40 then slipped to the chain with the 2nd mark. Chained 9 then...

Slipped stitch again to the 10th chain on the left of the 2nd marker. Chained 9 then did the same. Slipped to the 5th chain on the left.

Chained 9 again then slipped stitch again. Marked 5 chain to the left the 1st chain. Slipped stitch until the 3rd mark.

One of the handle finished, chain 9, slipped 5th on the left of the joining stitch, then repeated, until reached the other handle.
