Hello, Friends especially Foodies!

In my country, you could find many noodle restaurants, but only some that are truly legendaries. One of them is the noodle restaurant where we had our brunch last Saturday. Both mom and I missed this authentic legendary noodle, so we went to one of their branch which was located in Food Print, a food court which was located on 5th floor West Mall Grand Indonesia Shopping Center. Their first restaurant has opened since 1959 and until now you could come and dine in to their first restaurant building. Until now, they still have many customers so you could imagine how legendary their noodle is.

THE FOOD STALL

When we came to the food court at almost 11 am, the food stall already opened and it already had some customers even that time when the mall and also the food court has just opened. The food stall looked ordinary just like the other food stalls there.

THE MENU

You could see that they hanged the menus behind top of their order/cashier table.

You could see that beside noodle packages or ala carte they also had some rice packages, side dishes, veggies and also drinks.

THE PRICE

After had ordered, we needed to pay in the cashier table before they processed our order. Mine was only their chicken noodle (authentic and must try one), while mom was also chicken noodle but with the iced tea. Mine was 34,000 IDR and mom’s was 41,500 IDR but because we used our one account in the online payment application which could give 8K IDR cash back coins so the final price we paid was 59,500 IDR or around 4.14 USD. After paid the cashier gave us an alarm, it would beep and also light after our order finished, then I would have to take our order tray in their table.

THE NOODLE & THE OUTLOOK

They put their noodle, soup and also drink in the single used sterile utencils, great. Now let us try their noodle after a long time not eating theirs..

THE TASTE & THE FLAVOUR

Like usually, they had the non greasy, chewy and soft noodle texture. The colour of it, like usually, soft yellow. The taste and flavour, what made it different would be their authentic ginger ingredient in their noodle, it is kind of their secret recipe. It made it different and authentic among other noodles, others usually had garlic as their recipe, here they used ginger, dominantly. It also came with super tasty savory chicken on the top, and some green veggies, with a small bowl of soup too. Plus they also usually give separated authentic chilli paste in spicy, sour and sweet flavour (not too spicy like it usually so I put a bit much of it to my bowl). So yummy :9!

One day if you try this noodle by yourselves, you must know why we are so in love with their chicken noodle.

THE DINING AREA

Before I forgot in this food court, the dining area was large, clean and neat. They had the special cleaning service staffs to do the clean up of table, right after we finish eating. So no need to worry about their hygienic. They also limited the number of customers, and also the dining time for only an hour. Plus they also had the washing hand area too.
