I am reaching 40 after 1 year from here. So I am kind of wondering about where my life is going and what I am supposed to do in order to work and earn. I have earned most of my jobs income and the portfolio through the tech with some database skills.
I think most of you who are into 40s and 50s on Hive. I wonder how you are handling the phases of new skills, savings and investing for the old age? What are your strategies of the looking at the future? So for those who are entering into 40s, what are your future direction skills?
I am not in 20s and so heavy thinking like I am young is not going to be any easy. And so same applies for the physical work too. Like lifting the things and the doing the stand up job is not going to be the case for me for the long term job.
If you are reaching 40s then moving to another skill is not that easy. And in fact even bigger concern is that you would be struggling for variety of the jobs and the work. So you have to think of the work patterns in near future.
Some people are into the survival jobs and the skills and their life is different as well. When you reach the 40s you are going to be hustling for new skills. And the thing is that having the stability at this point gets harder.
Saving, investing and the survival money is something should be in your future plans. And you have to be very much aggressive about the skills and the work. So the 40s are going to be the time when you have to hustle harder and have to push for the setup of variety of things that are going to happen.
I always have this dilemma with the "where to go from here". I kind of spent the life into the where to go from here question. Think of the life from 20 to 40 as "are we there yet". But I never really arrived and done something big with the life.
Another thing I learned is that sometimes you have to take life one day at a time and go look into the future.
