Reflections

Here are some of the other drone shots that I took while filming the dance video for my daughter. I really like the stillness of the lake because it was perfect for creating a mirror image of the mountains.

This was such a cool area. Hopefully during winter it looks this cool because I am going to have to bring my drone back out here when there is snow or when the lake is frozen over.

DJI just announced their new Mavic 3 drone and the specs on it are pretty awesome. I am still rocking the first generation Mavic and it would be cool to get an upgraded sensor and camera for pictures.

The new drone also has a flight time of around 46 mins. This is more than double the 21 minutes that my drone does. The price for the newer model is around $2200+, but they have upgraded nearly every aspect of the drone, so it could really be worth it.

The new model also has a lot better transmission to and from the controller, which helps to maintain a better connection to your drone. There is nothing scarier when flying your drone and you lose connection to it. I have almost lost my drone several times due to the connection failing. One of them was when we were in Thailand and I was flying out over the ocean. That could have been pretty bad.

Hopefully crypto explodes soon with this anticipated bull run, and I am able to get this new drone. But even if I am not able to get it, I am very happy with the quality of the drone that I have now.
