Well, Hive is a lot better than Farcebook when it comes to having a lot to say... and interacting with others who also have a lot to say.

Thanks @lizelle, I am indeed very proud of her! Yes, I think she has joined Silver Bloggers. It's also nice that she is active here since she has a substantial external social media following, and her

You are the bravest person I know. I have missed your writing. Welcome back.

She is a wise one, that Smudge!

Thankfully, we're not currently stuck in the "have to sell some to pay for life" category, although we have been there and that would massively suck at the present time. Hopefully things will

My perspective actually comes from the reverse of the guy in the video's... I'm a Danish national living in the USA. I think the US was less "broken" when I first arrived here in 1981 for University,

Word of the day is definitely gratitude. That must have been a totally horrible experience. Glad she's OK. Still... be alert to "complications" for a week or so; the adrenaline flow of the moment

Thankfully, any selling I "had to"* undertake is behind us, so now I can just ignore it all and get back to blogging. I remember (as do you, I'm sure) adding a LOT of tokens to my stack during

Friend of mine who's a "free speech crusader" is fond of pointing out that free speech includes "the freedom to be a complete antisocial jackhead." Regardless, it still bugs me when

Well, I have several "alt" accounts; for me it was always a question of whether they make sense. The account from which I type this is my primary commentary/lifestyle/memories blog that also

The 20% sounds very alluring, but you have to ponder whether it's sustainable. The old "rule of 72" applied here means we'd double our money every 3 1/2 years, give or take. In a world of all

Our son (32) lives with us for 3-4 months, every winter... has done so for about five years. He's a "permanent seasonal" employee of a satellite city in the Seattle area, and gets "laid
