I felt no guilt at all after checking on my friend who hadn't reached out in a long while. She suddenly left the group we created, the five of us, a few months after graduation.
We gisted together, shared information, prayed for one another, and soon one of us is getting married. I had an idea on how to support our dear friend's wedding. Should we buy gifts, give her money, or both? Everyone responded except Rita.
That was when I realized that she had left the group without notifying anyone. Out of good conscience, I messaged her directly and asked after her well-being. She responded in a few hours, and then I asked again why she left the group. She said there were no reasons. "Okay, should we add you back?" I asked further. "No need, don't add me back," she replied.
I asked one of us who was close to her to check on her, which she did, and Rita said the same thing to her. Therefore, my mind was settled, and I feel no guilt for her decisions.
