One of the city's most well-liked tourist destinations is Cebu Tops. I'm from Cebu, but I didn't get to see it until I went to the Regional Revised K–10 training last May at the Cebu Business Hotel in Cebu City. My new friends and I went to Cebu Tops with my colleagues who attended a seminar at the hotel that same week. We decided to go that evening since none of us had been there before. We took a taxi from the Cebu Business Hotel to Cebu Tops. To avoid paying the entrance fee, we initially planned to take a taxi to IT Park and then a bus to Cebu Tops, but the driver offered to take us directly to Cebu Tops, so we agreed for convenience.
I felt a little bit worried about going to the top because I'm not used to it, and I was afraid for our safety. After a while, we reached our destination. We first dropped off at La Pristine. We paid 200 pesos for the entrance, but it was for consumables. When we were inside, we saw a lot of guests. Some were eating, and some were drinking. We visited different areas inside, especially on the 2nd floor. I saw a unique design there. Then we went to the bar area and the bread counter. We laughed since we took a pose there while we saw some expensive bread, drinks, and a lot more. We shared our drinks and bread so that the 200.00 would be just enough for us since we were not prepared to visit the place and were out of budget. After eating, we proceeded to Cebu Tops.
When we were at the entrance of Cebu Tops, we were amazed by the structure and the beauty of the place; it was very nice. The lights of all of Cebu can be seen from the top. We travelled the whole area and enjoyed the scene. There were lots of food stalls and restaurants too, where we could order what we wanted when we felt hungry. We all enjoyed the view of the iconic landmark and the five-storey lifestyle and dining complex.
After our sightseeing, we relaxed for a while, and then we decided to go back to the hotel. Together with my colleagues and newfound friends from Bohol and other divisions, we enjoyed our short trip, which was memorable because of the iconic views we saw at Cebu Tops. Thankful for the time we spent with them.
Note: Some of the photos were shared by my friends.
