Today Marks a new day with the last parts of my Thesis bring completed.
I know it's not my usual thing buy oh well xD
So let's dive right in! 👍
You see, I was in college for sometime now, honestly I felt down before deciding to go and soon attempted to "just do" singing in my life which according to others would be either finding a stable job or going to university with a one time only investment,
that meant I would be able to study only one subject, well the family thought the best thing should be computing and that was honestly the closest thing in my local "grandiose" college, it is a high your college mind you.
Despite that the subject was horrible for me, it didn't resonate, at the second year my performance dropped drastically and I told my advisors. They told me to take it easy and keep at it because a degree is an important asset, I thought okay why not, but it took a toll let's say.
Also part of why this happened is because our first advisor was Really Really cool, he promised many things and he was also a gamer, I'm a gamer too and the computing projects he suggested were really interesting, we would propose to organize eSports, setup networks and all that... but no... The guy left in the second semester of the first year and I saw them as a good mentor.
They left without any notice or goodbyes.
Okay enough with the sad coffee time, it's time for some sweet pancakes.
You see, it's been sometime, I was also in a bad environment but I also had spiritual awakenings if you will, more like strong series insights. 🙏☯️
Indeed the college experience was bad overall with every new teacher bring worse than the last 😩 , at some point I considered leaving and even told the teachers, they knew I was hardworking and just told me to do the "bare minimum", they started acting nice so at just that was worth saying. 🙄
Yes, such prestigious college having such teachers, it can happen, some were good, our advisor was nice but some other we struggled to understand what they are trying to say. I had my good experiences too plus it was social... and then the pandemic came in, lost all student contact and basically started working alone. It was sad but it happened, people drifted away.😔
On the bright side I was remote learning and didn't have to spend hours just got few hours of "lecture". 🤔
I honestly wanted to go for psychology ask that time but the British system doesn't allow for changing subject of study.
Lessons learned, to not make decisions based on fear and to follow our passions more closely.🔥
This is the last semester and I finally am finishing with all this, looking forward to new beginnings and for an occupation that will be a good fit.🎉
What's next? I realized through this journey that I like life coaching and NLP, so the next goal is to start getting those licences. 😌
I have studied a lot of relevant material and would like to go for it. I'm also closely looking into Ai technology on my free time and lately Trading + Crypto. The future is here after all.
Yep, ADHD can be rough but it can also be a blessing in disguise.😂
Well I hope you find this interesting 😊
