Another Pulling Workout Session

English
Español

On this occasion, I returned to the calisthenics park to train with my students in the morning. Today called for a pull routine. Taking advantage of the fact that we arrived early at the park despite everything and that there was a very cool morning climate, we got down to work.

After performing negative pull-ups and supinated pull-ups on the high bar, we decided to do Australian pull-ups and body curls on the low bar. Even when we are at the final stage of our routine, the sun hasn't finished coming out completely, which allows me to take good photos of the morning light that I always share in these posts. I was guiding my students, making sure they had good scapular retraction and that they flexed their elbows properly when pulling. These two things are vital for bodyweight pulling exercises. In the end, we left the park having completed the routine quickly, since my students have to leave very soon after the routines to attend their jobs, whose schedules start very early. However, today's routine was totally worth it.

Structuring a pulling session in the early morning hours sets a powerful tone for the rest of the day. The crisp air helps keep fatigue at bay while working through demanding movements like negative pull-ups and clean body curls. Focusing heavily on proper form—especially scapular engagement—ensures steady progress while protecting the joints from unnecessary strain.

Documenting these rapid morning sessions captures the dedication required to balance early work schedules with fitness goals. I hope these images convey the cool atmosphere and the hard work put into today's pull routine.

I hope you enjoyed these photographs. Without anything more to add, I bid farewell. Stay tuned for future posts! Until next time!
