Happy Wednesday to everyone. I'm glad everyone is healthy and grounded in their faith.
Yesterday, I had a good time in the presence of God and I had this joy in spirit during the bible study.
Truly the word of God is accessible and profound to everyone that comes with a simple heart.
I saw how God showed himself great to me while we were studying, that God's word can make a man simple.
Who is a simple man? Is a man who is teachable, willing, and humble to learn the truth, or the readiness of a heart of man to be taught by the Word of God.
Looking at the scripture,
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
It takes a simple heart to study the words of God and learn of His words. A man who is not simple can't learn and will not understand the wisdom that is deposited in the scripture and he will not even show himself approved by God.
The Bible admonishes us that we should study the Word with the simplicity of the heart, consistently seeking the knowledge of Christ, to be able to stand out and share the Word with others with confidence and as skilled workers who are not ashamed but rightly dividing the word of truth.
This is a call for all believers to be teachable in the place of the word to be able to teach others in a good way.
A believer who is not simple enough won't be able to others rightly, they must be experienced to be able to convey the message well.
God's wisdom is the word, only a simple man can access it.
Psalms 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
These words reveal to us that the word of God is perfect; there is no lie in the truth but filled with the power to enlighten and penetrate a man's soul. The word is a great weapon for equipping a man, influencing a man's decision in truth, and walking in the light of His will. This shows how powerful God's word is in a man's life.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
It says here that all scripture is to believers by God to teach a man the ways of God, for rebuking the believers when they want to go astray, to correct us of our decisions, to instruct us to leave a life of peace, joy, in righteousness. Showing others the right way to follow God and walk perfectly.
God's is deep and profound; the truth can't be hidden from the Word if we humbly come in a simple heart, and it will lighten our path and make our way straight.
