Happy Sunday, everyone!
This scripture struck my heart this afternoon, and I was so overwhelmed by its power. I don't take God's word for granted because it comes in due season to instruct, correct, encourage, and stir up a man's spirit to keep going.
Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have success.
I love this passage so much because it carries the blueprint of prosperity and success if we obey and keep to every instruction that comes out of it. Our prosperity is not found in grinding harder to work, but being grounded in the word of the lord that will make us successful in life and in every area. As we meditate on the word every day and night, He is aligning our choices and decisions, to the will of God. Our decisions will no longer be our decisions but God's decision, and we walk according to it, which will lead to the prosperity of our souls, minds, bodies, and physical aspect.
You don't have the power to force doors to be opened but God's word has the power to do impossible things for you. The word is powerful to do great things you didn't expect. Your responsibility is to study it every time, obey it,, and see it opening doors of prosperity you didn't expect.
Let's keep holding onto his word firmly and wait on God to bring His purpose to reality. His word never fails, nor will it return void, but it will accomplish that which the lord has sent.
I love the word because it's sweeter than honey.
