Decir cosas sobre ella me llena de alegría, ya que ocupa un lugar especial en mi corazón. Para mí, la expresión madre engloba una multitud de emociones y una hermosa labor en la vida. Como madres, tomamos conciencia de la importancia que tenemos en la sociedad, así como de quienes asumen este papel con cariño. Ese es el caso de mi madre, y hoy quiero celebrar su vida.
Mi madre se llama Ana Romelia, tiene 85 años, es una mujer admirable y valiente; de ella he aprendido a levantarme si me caigo, creo que es lo que nos enseñó a todos sus hijos desde que éramos pequeños. En su niñez ha enfrentado muchas dificultades, una de ellas el estar sola desde niña, ya que mi madre perdió a sus padres, abuelos y a su hermano. Su madre murió cuando ella tenía 8 años y se quedó sola a los 11 años. Solo un tío la apoyó en su lucha por salir adelante en esta vida. Undoubtedly, my mother is my role model, as she instilled in me many values that have been essential to transform me into an important and useful person in the future. However, there are certain elements of her existence that she warned us so that none of us would repeat them, given that her choice of partner was not the right one. I appreciate this, as her experience has been very valuable to all of us. This woman deserves admiration, for in her adult life she dedicated herself to learning to read and write in order to support us; I value her immense dedication and effort to ensure that her children achieved success.
