Deliciosa carne de res guisada con zanahoria, berenjena y paprika// (Esp/Eng)

• Lo primero que hacemos es cortar la carne en pedazos pequeños, la lavamos, luego colocamos una olla en la cocina con agua, añadimos la carne y dejamos cocinar hasta que se ablanden.

• The first thing we do is cut the meat into small pieces, wash it, then place a pot on the stove with water, add the meat, and let it cook until tender.

• Mientras la carne se cocina, retiramos la piel a la zanahoria y la berenjena la cortamos en cubos pequeños; también cortamos la cebolla, el pimentón y los tallos de cebollín en cubos pequeños y reservamos. Todos estos ingredientes están previamente lavados.

• While the meat is cooking, peel the carrot and eggplant and cut them into small cubes. Also cut the onion, bell pepper, and green onion stalks into small cubes and set aside. All of these ingredients have been washed beforehand.

• Ahora lavamos los tomates y los ponemos a cocinar a fuego medio en una olla con agua durante 5 minutos. Cuando esté listo, lo añadimos en el vaso de la licuadora, añadimos sal y orégano y licuamos. Luego reservamos.

• Now wash the tomatoes and cook them over medium heat in a pot of water for 5 minutes. When ready, add them to the blender, add salt and oregano, and blend. Then set aside.

• Luego colocamos una sartén, añadimos el ajo triturado, seguidamente la cebolla y el pimentón y dejamos que se sofría.

• Then place a frying pan on the stove, add the crushed garlic, followed by the onion and paprika, and sauté.

• Ahora añadimos la zanahoria, dejamos cocinar unos minutos, luego la berenjena y la taza de caldo de carne y dejamos cocinar unos minutos.

• Now add the carrot, cook for a few minutes, then add the eggplant and the cup of beef broth and cook for a few minutes.

• Luego añadimos la carne ya cocida y mezclamos para integrar todos los ingredientes.

• Ahora aderezamos con sal, pimienta, salsa de soya y seguidamente el cebollín. Dejamos cocinar.

• Now season with salt, pepper, soy sauce, and then the green onion. Let it cook.

• Luego añadimos la salsa y una cucharadita de paprika para darle color y sabor y dejamos cocinar hasta que la zanahoria y la berenjena estén blandas.

• Then add the sauce and teaspoon of paprika for color and flavor, and cook until the carrots and eggplant are tender.
