Celebrando el cumpleaños de mi esposo// (Esp/Eng)

Hola amigos, quiero compartir que el 7 de septiembre fue el cumpleaños de mi esposo, quien cumplió 62 años. Como era domingo, decidió celebrarlo con su madre, hermanos y sobrinos, pero como ellos viven en Guanta, en el estado Anzoátegui, gracias a Dios que relativamente queda cerca de nuestra ciudad, él optó por visitarlos ese día. Como tomó esta decisión un poco tarde, salimos alrededor de las 10 de la mañana. Afortunadamente, teníamos libre ese día y también el día siguiente, ya que era la fiesta de la Virgen del Valle.

Hello friends, I want to share that September 7 was my husband's birthday, and he turned 62. Since it was Sunday, he decided to celebrate with his mother, siblings, and nephews, but since they live in Guanta, in the state of Anzoátegui, thank God it's relatively close to our city, he chose to visit them that day. Since he made this decision a little late, we left around 10 in the morning. Fortunately, we had the day off that day and also the next day, since it was the feast of the Virgin of the Valley.

Cuando llegó, su madre lo recibió con mucha alegría, junto con sus hermanos, que estaban muy emocionados porque hacía años que no celebraban el cumpleaños de ese hijo, ya que vivimos lejos unos de otros. Así que, a través de WhatsApp, la familia se enteró de su presencia, y sus hermanas y sobrinos vinieron a celebrar con él. Una sobrina muy especial le trajo la torta y todos trajeron aperitivos. La celebración cobró vida gracias a la música, que amenizó la reunión. Mi marido bailó con su madre, su hermana y su sobrina. Realmente no esperábamos nada de esto, pero sucedió así, y es un momento que permanecerá grabado en nuestra memoria para siempre.

When he arrived, his mother welcomed him with great joy, along with his siblings, who were very excited because they hadn't celebrated that son's birthday in years, since we live far away from each other. So, through WhatsApp, the family found out about his presence, and his sisters and nephews came to celebrate with him. A very special niece brought him the cake, and everyone brought snacks. The celebration came to life thanks to the music, which livened up the gathering. My husband danced with his mother, sister, and niece. We really weren't expecting any of this, but it happened, and it's a moment that will remain etched in our memory forever.

Como teníamos que regresar a nuestra casa aquí en Cumaná antes de las seis de la tarde, cantamos el "Cumpleaños feliz", lo que nos llenó de alegría. Cuando terminamos, se ofreció un trozo de torta a todos los que estaban allí y, sobre las 6:30 p. m., decidimos regresar a Cumaná, ya que no habíamos traído nada para quedarnos. Lo más importante de ese día fue que mi esposo estaba muy feliz al lado de su familia. Siempre he pensado que celebrar los cumpleaños es muy importante, porque forman parte de nuestras vidas y queremos que se conviertan en fechas especiales que permanezcan grabadas en nuestra memoria.

Since we had to return to our home here in Cumaná before six in the afternoon, we sang “Happy Birthday,” which filled us with joy. When we finished, a piece of cake was offered to everyone who was there, and around 6:30 p.m., we decided to return to Cumaná, since we hadn't brought anything to stay overnight. The most important thing about that day was that my husband was very happy with his family. I have always thought that celebrating birthdays is very important because they are part of our lives, and we want them to be special dates that remain etched in our memory.

El día del nacimiento representa el momento en que conmemoramos nuestra llegada a la vida. Por eso debemos celebrar ese día con gran entusiasmo y, del mismo modo, debemos expresar nuestro afecto hacia la persona que celebra su cumpleaños, haciéndola sentir valorada por su familia y amigos. The day of birth represents the moment when we commemorate our arrival in life.
