Greetings to the Splinterland community, and everyone who lives there, I am pleased to be here to participate in the Splinterlands Art Contest Week 259.
Today I bring you a fan-art, which is inspired by the card Fungus Flinger, which caught my attention for its figure, colors and tender appearance, so I leave this 2D figure in the quilling technique.

Hola a mis queridos Hivers y a la querida comunidad de artistas HiveDIY, como siempre muy complacida y emocionada de encontrarme por acá nuevamente, mostrándole mi trabajo hecho con mucho amor y especialmente para ustedes.
Un saludo para la comunidad de Splinterland, y todos los que hacen vida por allí, me gratifica estar por acá para participar en el Splinterlands Art Contest Week 259.
*Hoy les traigo un fan-art, el cual está inspirado en la carta Fungus Flinger, la cual me llamo mucho la atención por su figura, colores y su aspecto tierno, por ello les dejo esta figura en 2D en la técnica de quilling. *
Esperando les guste mi trabajo, sin más preámbulos, les dejo mi proceso creativo.
Comencemos:😃
• Trozo de cartulina blanca.
• Cintas de quilling de diversos colores y medidas de ancho.
• Aguja para quilling.
• Molde o plantilla para círculos.
• Pega blanca extra fuerte (de carpintería).
• Pinturas al frio, (colores variados).
• Tijera.
• Pincel.
- Piece of white cardboard.
- Quilling ribbons of different colors and widths.
- Quilling needle.
- Mold or template for circles.
- Extra strong white glue (carpentry glue).
- Cold paints (assorted colors).
- Scissors.
- Paintbrush.
- We are going to take a piece of white cardboard, this will be the base that we will use to make the fan-art, cut it to the size that I want the work to be.
- For the body we are going to start by taking 3mm wide beige quilling tape, I will not give exact measurements in this work since I am going to go on fitting it to my convenience as the ideas arise to elaborate the figure. Take the ribbon and with the quilling needle roll the amount I consider adequate to make a circle, which I took out of the needle, loosen a little to loosen and get an open circle, seal with glue and mold it to form the body of the figure, take the cardboard that I had cut, and glue the molded piece with a little extra strong white glue.
- For the head we are going to take beige color of 3mm wide, we will roll with the quilling needle to obtain a circle which I will mold to my taste to form the piece I need, once molded I will glue it to the body.
• Vamos a tomar un trozo de cartulina blanca, esta será la base que usaremos para elaborar el fan-art, la corte de la medida que deseo el trabajo.
• Para el cuerpo vamos a empezar tomando cinta de quilling de 3mm de ancho color beige, no le daré medida exacta en este trabajo ya que voy a ir acoplando a mi conveniencia a medida que surjan las ideas para elaborar la figura. Tome la cinta y con la aguja para quilling enrolle la cantidad que considere adecuada para elaborar un circulo, el cual saque de la aguja, solté un poco para aflojar y obtener un circulo abierto, selle con pega y lo moldee para formar el cuerpo de la figura, tome la cartulina que había cortado, y pegue la pieza moldeada con un poco de pega blanca extra fuerte.
• Para la cabeza vamos a tomar color beige de 3mm de ancho, enrollaremos con la aguja para quilling obtendremos un circulo el cual moldeare a mi gusto para formar la pieza que necesito, una vez moldeada la pegare al cuerpo.
- For the arms I made two closed circles with 3mm wide beige tape, not so big, molded to my liking, and glued them to the sides of the body.
- For the feet, make two even smaller circles with 3mm wide beige tape, mold and glue.
- To make the mushrooms, take 6mm wide beige tape, make several open circles of different sizes, then with light brown tape make several tight circles also of different sizes, mold them in a template of circles, put glue on the inside to prevent deformation, once dry, take the beige circles, mold them and attach both pieces with a touch of glue. In this way, make mushrooms of different sizes, and glue them to the head.
• Para los brazos con cinta beige de 3mm de ancho realice dos círculos cerrados no tan grandes moldee a mi gusto, pegue a los lados del cuerpo.
• Para los pies realice dos círculos más pequeños aun con cinta beige de 3mm de ancho, moldee y pegue.
• Para realizar los honguitos, tome cintas beige de 6mm de ancho realice varios círculos abiertos de diversos tamaños, luego con cinta marrón claro realice varios círculos apretados también de diferentes medidas, los moldee en una plantilla de círculos, le coloque pega en la parte interna para que evitar que se deformen, una vez secos, tome los círculos beige los moldee y acople ambas piezas con un toque de pega. De esa manera realice honguitos de diversos tamaños, y los pegue a la cabeza.
- With 3mm wide black ribbon, make 2 closed circles, which I molded in the circular template to simulate bombs, glue them on the hands.
- The eyes are made by combining beige and pink tape, with which I made 2 small closed circles, which I molded by pulling them out a little bit.
- For the nose and mouth cut out two pieces of light purple and dark purple tape.
• Con cinta negra de 3mm de ancho realice 2 círculos cerrados, los cuales moldee en la plantilla de circular para simular unas bombas, las pegue en las manos.
• Los ojos los realice combinando cinta beige y rosa, con las cuales realice 2 pequeños círculos cerrados, los cuales moldee sacando un poco hacia afuera.
• Para la nariz y boca recorte dos trozos de cinta morado claro, y morado oscuro.
- Make some closed circles of different sizes with brown and beige ribbon and mold them on the circle template to recreate the markings on the body.
- With orange ribbons of 3mm wide, make some circles of different sizes, which I molded in the shape of fire, to make the decorations that go next to the bombs.
• Realice algunos círculos cerrados de diversos tamaños con cinta marrón y beige los cuales moldee en la plantilla para círculos, para recrear las marcas que tiene en el cuerpo.
• Con cintas naranjas de 3mm de ancho realice algunos círculos de diferentes tamaños, los cuales moldee en forma de fuego, para realizar las decoraciones que van al lado de las bombas.
- At this point I glued the remaining pieces to the figure, along the way I made some changes. I applied some shades of cold paints in a varied way to the figure in general, I applied black paint to the mouth and the details that I had placed in purple, I felt that this way it would stand out more, at the end I cut the figure out of the cardboard.
This way I finish this 2D fan-art of the Fungus Flinger card.
• Llegado a este punto pegué de la figura las piezas restantes, en el trayecto hice algunos cambios. Aplique algunas tonalidades de pinturas al frio de manera variada a la figura en general, aplique pintura negra a la boca y los detalles que había colocado de color morado, sentí que de esta manera resaltaría más, al finalizar recorte la figura de la cartulina.
De esta manera doy por culminado esta fan-art en 2D de la carta Fungus Flinger.
