There were some heavy rain showers around today. The rain is welcome and refreshing when you find yourself suddenly getting a short soaking! 馃ぃ.
I heard today that there could be yet another hot period in the first week of September. 馃サ. Possibly 30掳 again.
To pass some time this morning we had another visit to Guildford castle. The gardens were in full bloom thanks to the hard work of the gardeners. A very impressive place in summer and well worth a walk around or eat your lunch .
The crop of fruit and berries this year is very good. Matching last years impressive display. The berries in my picture are sadly not edible for us humans but look great and probably ok for the birds! 馃榿
