Sadly, there are only two cygnets left of the six that hatched a few weeks ago. That is disappointing but we have to remember that nature works the numbers game. Out of a clutch of six, maybe, just maybe one will survive.
The swan family is always a pleasure to watch every year. We hope that these two young birds make it to adults.
Todays step count has surprised me as I walked around the Mill Pond which normally would take me through the 5k steps easily. 馃し.
