The baby birds are appearing now. This picture of a lovely family of coots. Just starting out on their life on the Ifield Mill Pond. I spotted a young mallard too trying to catch up with the parent birds which were more interested in finding food. I'm not sure if there were other chicks but I couldn't see any more. I hope they haven't fallen prey to carnivores already! 馃槮.
Another sight was a group of canada geese. These goslings were newly hatched as well. Looking very small, fluffy and gorgeous! 馃槅.
We are still waiting for the swans to produce their young. It wont be long as they usually appear about a week after the canada geese hatch.
