False fire alarm! My Actifit Report Card: April 2 2026
My eye test today was full of drama. Taking a nice walk into town this morning walking through the memorial gardens on my way to my appointment, it was pleasant in the sunshine. Little did I know what was about to happen though!
Midway through my eye test a fire alarm was triggered in the County Mall shopping centre. The whole centre had to evacuate! 馃槅
I figured that this may take some time, so it seemed a good idea to get a coffee somewhere and then come back again later. This turned out to be the best plan because just five minutes after I returned, the doors opened again. A false fire alarm was triggered.
I finally got my appointment finished and made my way home again. My eyes were ok and no need for new glasses....yet! 馃ジ
