Funny that recently I realized, my tag has been filled up with different type of initiative. My local community tag #teammalaysia is out of the window. Why is that? Because I have a chance to get curated and earn a huge drop of token. Today I would like to talk about what needs to be NOT putting too much attention to when going to look at #steem-engine exchange board

As a passive investor, I have everything to win, but nothing to lose. I did spent time on creating content and trying to earn upvote most of the time. But what I miss does not mean I would LOSE anything in my life other than the time spent. Technically, nobody is taking money out of my pocket.

I realize, I've been focusing too much on the dollar value on the tradeboard, as a result it kinda confused me when I look at the dollar value. At one time I saw it at low price, at one time I saw it goes sky high. What I failed to notice is, the AMOUNT of coins accumulated.

Here, take a closer look at the amount of coin is utmost important when dealing long term in crypto investing tools. If you notice this after you stak a coin, the dollar value will vanish.

This for example. I got 1 SteemSpeak coin today. Seriously, I haven't got the time to understand how to utilize it, but looking at the amount so small and yet it yeild so "big" on the currency value, it has to be something big. So, why not stake it?

Engaging a stake process meaning we're commiting to a long term investment relationship with the coin itself. I still haven't find out how to use it now, but I'm sure I'm staying in. So, staking it would make it "useful" - not sure how just yet. We will come back to that.

And immediately after staking in, the dollar value vanished.

Summary

Do you see the difference between crypto and currency? When you're in the crypto land, you stake it, and earn it. You don't go by the dollar value. It has nothing to do with dollar regardless how high it should be. Because after you stake, you're committing to a long term relationship. In order to unstake, it will take a very long time to get it out. If this is not investing to you, then don't stake it. Trade it, buy low sell high. That's called speculation. I wish you good luck in your trading, but I'm investing.
