I'm finally 90% back to myself after a heavy flu a couple of days ago. Work in the office has been pretty darn hectic as I was left behind a whole week of backlog.
I feel like it's a waste of time to even worry, as I'm pretty darn sure I'm leaving the job regardless. I've been getting calls from friends offering jobs and 8ve been actively attending interviews despite carrying flu π€£ imagine if this was 2 years ago, I'll be categorized as murderer virus career.
Work was not too late, but I had to stay back a little due to the heavy rain as I couldn't get to my car. After the rain subsided, the sky had already turned dark. Home minister bought KFC for the kids, I was thinking I should go to KFC by myself, but later decided to do something else.
As I waive through the heavy traffic, I've decided to revisit the indian Muslim restaurant near our house for a rojak. Rojak was not an original indian Muslim dish, but it was originated from Indonesia, Javanese dish. Referred as Rujak for my Indonesian friends.
I'm not in any shape writing a good food review, perhaps I will let the picture speak that million words for you. I need something light, so this salad will do the justice, but at the same time I need heavy taste to get them washing down my throat since my flu has taken away much of my taste, so the peanut spicy broth goes really well with this.
I tell you what, I even drink the broth! After which, I feel so much alive! I don't need my flu medication anymore! I feel....
sore throat π
shit. should have gone easy on the broth and stick to the light weight salad, instead of grinding down the whole package of spicy sauce π€£
