Other than my sarcastic comment about the brilliant situation my country is in, I'm usually a very positive person. I guess making sarcastic comment give me peace and able to handle situation well.
I was informed by my sister, mom suddenly having trouble to talk. We suspect she's having a stroke. I was just about to use the "great! just great" expression, but quickly realized I'm not supposed to. She's my mom, and I'm still 180km away from my parents house with kids required to attend tuition class. There's absolutely no sarcasm can flip the emergency situation and make it feel any better
There's not much food left in the house as we're preparing for lent. Ash wednesday is only couple of days ahead, dry meat already ran out and I refused to replenish it. Out of sight, out of mind. Why make myself suffer looking at trigger food and can't have them. Instead, spreading my first unsweetened peanut butter onto an expiring white bread! It wasn't so bad, but unsweetened does make it less easy to swallow.
Whilst arranging the kids, and juggling my weekend routine, now I need to plan for any emergency arrangement. I may need to leave here and go back since my mom is admitting to hospital. There's probably not much I can do for my mom, but at least I can buy food for dad and be with dad.
By noon, am having my "breakfast" sub and a bag of mocha, the Malaysian version called Neslo, a mixture of Nescafé and Milo. I know, not exactly a healthy choice. I'm just finding an easy way to shove food into my mouth whilst trying to match my pace with the current situation. I'll update again if I am able to go back to my hometown tonight, whilst I'm waiting for wife to come back from church.

Side note, the church ceiling collapsed. This year, isn't really that much of fun, and there's no place for me to use my sarcasm to vent things off. Am only hoping and praying these can be iron out smoothly. I did think of thank god it collapsed when I wasn't there, but somehow the devil inside me asking why go to church in the first place? I know I know, pray for me. Desperately need that positive vibe.
