There's been 2 months since I met my buddy Eddie, he was one of very few ex-colleague which I'm still in close contact with. Since he's 2 hours away from me, it's only normal that we spend enough time to catch up and talk a lot about our life and business.
Kuala Lumpur is a busy city, if you have an appointment with someone from out of the city wishes to meet up, the only place which is slightly convenient will be Mid Valley Megamall. And, if your date is not a Muslim nor needed any particular food certification, Sek Tong is the best restaurant to be.
I have met Charles couple of months back at this shop and I'm impressed by the amount of food they prepared. The menu design is pretty darn impressive too, as they made it looks like a fashion magazine 😂
It's a Hong Kong themed restaurant, and the common trade both Malaysia and Hong Kong are British colonial countries for many years. You can see it from the coffee shop menu, with heavy English influence. We have similar taste buds for all things English.
Friend got his chicken rice but I was hesitated to take a pictures since it's not my food 😂 I took a plate of toast bread, ham and scramble eggs. I also added a bowl of curry fish ball, which I have been to Hong Kong but never got to eat one. It's nice to dip the toast bread into the curry broth to absorb them and make the bread taste 10 times better.
It was a wonderful evening we spent and before sun goes down and we call it a day. If you come to Malaysia Kuala Lumpur and have a meet up with the locales, Mid Valley Megamall is the place to go, and this Hong Kong Style restaurant is a brilliant hangout place for reasonable price and not overly crowded.
