My weekdays at work has always been, 3 things.
Or something like that. Sometimes probably be How to eat ar? But that seldom happen unless going to some cultural restaurant. Like one time we went to a shop they blend BUTTER with YOGURT mixed with Green Pepper added with salt and peppermint. Trust me, it doesn't taste that bad if I weren't tell you before hand.
I think I've mentioned this previously, if you already read this, forgive me I need to reemphasize on how things goes against me, soon as I announce I'm gonna lose weight, all my client and friends will take absolutely no chance but to start dating me, seducing me, sometimes even force me to eat all the good food. Now, despite I'm enjoying it, but I'm feeling a little bit guilty for breaking my own promise though. So, here we go.
There's this gang of senior client, despite me being in my 40s, but majority of them are ranging between 50 and 60s, so I'm still the youngest among them all. Roast port is a must. We will order our own noodle and fried egg to go with these roasted pork collar, sometimes pork belly. The skin is so crunchy, with every bite I do, there's a thin layer of lard blast through my teeth and spill through my mouth. Oh my, don't get me started.
Bari-uma is my new found ramen shop that serve heavy garlic soup. Don't get me wrong, this is not the type I mentioned previously like you can smell an armpit of a 3 hours football session. This somehow, smell nothing. But the soup they made with black garlic, oh gosh the moment you take a slurp, the soup goes into the throat, a the smell of a dead cat came blast through your nose going back outwards. I don't mean I eat a dead cat before, but there are several occasions when I pass by a roadkill without knowing it's there and accidentally smell that rotten corpse. Oh enough of that soup. Trust me I have never left a single drop of that soup so far after several times I've visited here. I'll gulp them down even if I'm full with the ramen.
Just when I think my day is done, with that bowl of heavy ramen and soup, with the side dishes of fried chicken and marinated cucumber, I'm basically having hard time to continue the day. As I was happily keeping my laptop computers and getting ready to leave, colleague offer to join him for dinner since he's alone. I looked at him and pity him had to eat fried rice every evening, so decided to join him, when more than 1 person we can have a sharing plate and eat more variety.
The above beancurd marinated pork belly is the deep fried edition. I think many would prefer normal pressure cooker fried rather than deep fried because the meat would have lost a lot of moisture. We did thought of that, so we ordered a egg broth fried noodle, and it taste a lot like sharkfin soup. Trust me, I am not promoting eating sharkfin, I'm saying this thing can easily replace the original sharkfin.
And not forgetting a huge portion of braised pork fried noodle. I don't know if you can see how great it smell from this picture, but I tell you the both of us whack the whole damn thing, we almost did not eat the table together.
