Broken window frame got replaced to prepare for the lock down

I've been staying in this place for 10 years now, it's not my own flat, I rented it for a very reasonable price since this place is a little off from town. The biggest thing about this flat is, it situated right behind a train track! So, the first year I moved in, literally having insomnia. Not forgetting opposite of the train track, is a stretch of light weight industrial factories. So, other than listening to train chucking through, we can enjoy steel mill grinding noise as well.

Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana. The building is actually close to 40 years, when I moved in it was around 30 years. Old, yet functional. But not anymore as at todate. The wooden window frame started to give way and rain water sipped in through the frame.

Fortunately, the owner agreed to bear the repair cost, to tear down the old windows and replaced them with a modern and more corrosion proof aluminium windows frame. Been living here for 10 years, first time ever I get to see from here, there's so much green and so many beautiful view from my window.

We spent whole day moving stuff around, the home appliances, tear down the old windows, prep the foundation for the new window rack, and finally after done all that, the hole being patched with some wooden panel, just to temporary block the wind and rain water coming in directly. But, the panel were patched from the inside, so it doesn't really serve much purpose. If it rain, wherever you see lights, that's where the water will come in. Fortunately, that night we had a minor rain, no side wind. We survived without a proper window in place.

After that, we did thought of trying to make the quarter glass on top, so it will not block the view. After some consideration of safety for the kids, year we decided to leave the quarter glass at the bottom.

Finally, the window glass is in, the frame is properly setup, the harness is set in place, the patches are dried, and we spend a little extra to get the worker to paint the wall aswell. The trouble now is, the wall by the window side is white, where as the other sides are yellowish.
