You see one of my sisters passed away in the first part of January in 2005. Yes that was a long time ago, fourteen years now.

How did that happen? Well, it had to do with cancer. In those days I didn't know too much about the disease, cancer. I am not so sure if it were the treatment or the cancer that got her.

All I know that if I would get cancer I wouldn't go to a doctor. In my mind the average doctor doesn't know about nutrition. Remember I mentioned in a blog that I was listening to an audio called, Dead Doctors Don't Lie?

Well, in that audio, it mentions that the average doctor lives to be 58 years old. Well, I guess I am doing better than the average doctor since I am now 60 years old. God willing I will be around a lot longer.

Well, in the audio it mentions that every disease can be traced to a deficiency in a certain nutrient or nutrients. Of course now days with the depleted soils and lack of worms cause of things like Round Up, the soil is lacking.

So in the audio it mentions to add nutrients to the diet. Well, it makes sense.

In ancient days the heads of warriors knew that if the men ate of the wheat of Egypt, they would have powerful men of war. Why? Cause the wheat of Egypt in those days had more minerals than any other wheat of the nations in that area.

Why in Egypt was there more minerals in Egyptian wheat? Well cause in those days they would let the Nile river flood and overflow and when that happened with the flood came the minerals that washed up to the land and the wheat benefited from all those minerals.

Now days, they don't let the Nile river flood and overflow, so the wheat of Egypt now days is not the same as in the ancient days.

Let's get back to my sister. Well, I don't think she ate right, plus all the medicines. Well in my mind medicines will never give nutrition to the body.

This is why I talked my mom into putting things like wakame seaweed into her diet. Wakame seaweed can add a good amount of minerals into ones diet. I try to keep adding wakame into my own diet. I been adding in organic bone broth and grass fed gelatin also, doing this would add in even more minerals into my diet. I like eating chicken liver for more minerals also.

Doing this and adding in vitamins like, C, E, D.

Ok, enough with nutrition.

When I was in high school, my sister was there also. She came in a year after me. She was more popular than me. She was in a lot of the afternoon school programs and was even one of the mascots.

To some I wasn't known as David, but more like my sister's brother. Well, that was OK. I would hang out in the school library when not in class, so of course I wouldn't be that popular.

I remember that my sister always wanted me to check out her new cheer. I would watch one then she wanted me to check out another one. Well, they all look the same to me. I would smile and tell her it was good.

Later on, I went to a nearby community college and my sister went there also. I have a memory of watching a band play at a certain grassy area and I was sitting down watching the band.

Well, my sister found me and sat next to me. Then I remember her asking me for money, cause she wanted to eat something. I think I remember saying something like, Starving teenagers.

I was working at McDonald's during the nights then, so I did have some money. This was in the later 1970's. So I gave her a couple of bucks. In those days you can buy enough food for a meal with a couple of bucks.

It was my sister, Joni that later worked for the telephone company and told me that there were openings. So because of her I quit trying to sell vacuum cleaners and started to work for the telephone company in the later part of 1979, which after 31 years I did get to retire from.

So why am I thinking about my sister today as I write? Well, you see, today as I write is her birthday. She would have been 59 years old today, as I write, had she lived.

Like I wrote before, sometimes I think of my writings, as my therapy.
