The moon is not yet full, but it will be in a few days as I write. Do you remember reading when the moon stood still? Yes, it is written and it was the same time that the sun stood still for about a day.
It only happened one time and it like has not been seen since. This was the time of Joshua. As it is written, Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. Joshua 10:12-13.
Can you see a problem with a globe earth and it spinning around the sun? Yet, the scriptures never said that the earth spins around the sun. As a matter of fact the scriptures say that the earth is not moved. Well if the earth is not moved then it does not spin. So who we going to believe NASA or God?
As it is written, God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. Romans 9:4.
Well, then I would believe God, as does NASA really tell us the truth? Even their pictures of the earth is CGI and there are all kinds of problems with the moon landing videos. Did you ever see a Youtube video called, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Moon, it is put up by Ralf Rene? It might be worth looking into.
So let's get back to the sun and moon standing still for a about a period of a day. So what would happen if the earth is spinning at a thousand miles an hour at the equator, then it stopped? Wouldn't our earth as we know it be in so much havoc, if that happened? Wouldn't it be like a car going a thousand miles an hour, at the equator that is and coming to a complete stop? Wouldn't one just fly through the windshield if that would happen.
Now just think about a thousand miles an hour. That is like going more than 1,400 feet per second. So what if we took a person that was at the equator and have him step on a mark, then have him jump up in the air, now when he lands on earth again will he land on his mark or will his mark be far away from him?
Well, if the earth is spinning at a thousand miles and hour or more than 1,400 feet per second, then the mark should be far away from him, if the earth is moving like that. Yet the earth is not moved, as it is written, Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. Psalm 96:10. Then if the earth is not moved, then the guy will land on his mark, as the earth is not moved.
It was in Isaiah that it mentions the circle of the earth, as it is written, It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in: Isaiah 40:22. Now a circle is not a sphere or a ball. It is a circle. You can draw a circle on the flat piece of paper. Is not a circle flat? So if we have a flat earth with a firmament, with the firmament housing the sun, moon and stars it would be possible that the sun and moon can stand still, as it stands still in the firmament and not because the earth stopped spinning. Well, the earth does not spin since the earth is not moved. Of course I will believe God rather than NASA.
The sun, moon and stars are the lights in the firmament, as it is written, And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: Genesis 1:14.
Let's end with a scripture, And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Genesis 3:15.
