It seems like the gas prices have gone down a little. Of course where you are you might be paying more or paying less. All I know that in California is that they sure do take a lot of gas tax out of us and I am not so sure that the tax they are taking out of us is actually fixing the roads and highways.

No, if the politician has a house that look more than there yearly pay then maybe they are doing some kind of slush fund with that extra gas tax money. All I know is that I have to drive over some pot holes on my way home from my mom's house. You think with all that California gas tax that they would fix every pot hole that comes up.

Well, I guess we better follow the money. There is always a money trail, but before doing that we would have to drain the swamp. Yes we got to drain the swamp of career politicians that make only so much money, but have multi million dollar homes and other big assets.

Where did they get all that money? Are they not the same people that want to look at President Trump's tax returns? Well, I would like to look at all these politicians tax returns that make less than $200,000 a year, but have multi million dollar homes.

You see, I want to see if they did any kind of pay for play type of things. Some of these politicians that own these multi million dollar homes that were not very rich before their government office is now very well off. Yes, I would like to look at their tax returns. What is the secret of all that money? I wonder if it has to do with dark secrets?

Let's get back to the gas pump. Today I chose to pump premium gas. You see I have to do a smog check pretty soon on my 93 Honda Accord. Well, one thing that I always do to get a little edge is to buy premium gas before the smog test.

Another thing to get the edge on that test is to do an oil change. One good thing about getting an oil change is that the oil change people check out the other fluids too, along with changing the oil filter.

Yes, if you are going to have to get a smog check then changing the oil before the test is a good idea.

I am pretty sure it will pass as two years ago the smog check people noticed that my catalytic converter was not the right one for my 93 Honda Accord. Well in other years they didn't mention it, but they mentioned it 2 years ago.

So then, I had to get a new catalytic converter that is right for my car. Well, one thing about a brand new catalytic converter is that the test results really come out pretty good.

So anyway, I think it will go well, during the smog test.

So, let's get back to the gas pump. Of course cars use mostly gas, and especially the car that came straight from a car dealer, new or used.

I was just browsing over a video by Jeremiah Babe called, CAR LOTS LOOK EMPTY - AUTO SALES WEAKEN - UNSOLD CARS PILE UP - CONSUMER IS TAPPED OUT. So he was at a car lot to show that no one, but a father and son was looking at a car and that was out of 7 or 8 different lots.

So I guess the car dealer industry is not doing good. Well, it sounds about right that people are tapped out. Most people I know are barely making it. If the people are like that, then who is going to buy the cars?

I won't buy from a dealer. No, I like to buy a used car from an individual, usually on Craigslist. I did buy my 89 Nissan Sentra back in the later part of 1995 from one of my co-workers when I used to work for the telephone company.

I still like that car as it has the smallest engine of all the vehicles I have. Well, with a smaller engine, the lesser amount of gas it will use, if it is in good working order that is.

I was thinking if I did buy another car, if something happened to one of my cars that is, I really don't need another car right now. If I did though, I would be looking for a car with a four cylinder more than a v6 for example, which which is a bigger engine.

One time I told a friend of mine that was looking for a car, she eventually bought a new Ford Fusion. That was back in 2008. I told her if she wants to save gas she would want to get a 4 cylinder vehicle.

Well, she took out the 4 cylinder and v6 for a test drive. Then she told me that the v6 which will eat more gas was more powerful, so she bought that one. I told her that I thought she wanted to save money on gas. Of course to save money on gas you would have to give up the more powerful engine that will have you spending more money on gas.

Yes, the smaller engine will have less power than a bigger engine, but you can save gas. Well, unless you buy a new Honda that gets 40 mpg. An auntie of mine has a newer Honda like that. That is pretty good gas mileage, but I am not going to buy a new car. I just like, the older cars.

I don't want anyone that has one of those electronic boxes opening up my door cause of modern technology that can be hacked, opening up my car door with a flick of the switch from one of those electronic boxes.

So I will just stick with my older vehicles.

Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, with Jesus speaking, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. John 10:1.
