This is the first time that my mom's mandarin tree fruited. It took some years, but here it is. Mom bought this little tree from the farmer's market that we like to go to. It is a dwarf.
Maybe it took so long for it to fruit was it it didn't always have full sun. I mean it had full sun in the summer, but on the other seasons with the sun coming in at an angle it didn't get full sun.
The tree did the best it could do. I heard of wild citrus trees in Florida growing under large trees. So their light was limited, but they still fruited.
So maybe that is the case with this mandarin tree. So I will be looking forward to it fruiting next year also, God willing.
I have an orange tree at my place. I had two cats that passed away and I buried them under my orange tree. I told my youngest sister that I thought it might be a good idea that my ashes be buried under my orange tree. She didn't like that idea and told me she wouldn't do that.
Oh well, I thought it was a good idea.
Mom takes care of a lot of feral cats. Well, over the years some have passed away. So what I did was to bury them somewhere around mom's mandarin tree. I think I buried about 5 cats under that mandarin tree.
That reminds me of a scripture, as it is written, Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? Ecclesiastes 3:21.
When I eat the mandarin I also eat the seeds. Most of the time when the seeds can be chewed on I will eat them. A lot of seeds have vitamin B17.

Anyone who wants to know more about cancer, might want to check out this documentary. To get big doses of vitamin B17 I eat apricot kernels. I buy them from Amazon.
I also eat the seed of apples when I do eat an apple. When I was a kid I would just eat the apple, but not the core. Now days I will eat the core with the seeds.
That reminds me of another scripture, as it is written, And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. Genesis 1:29. Sounds like we are to eat the seed also.
So I will eat the seeds when I can. If you think about it, we are the only one that spit out the seeds. When a horse eats an apple, the horse eats the whole apple including the stem.
Same thing with a bear. In that documentary, A World Without Cancer - The Story Of Vitamin B17 it mentions that bears in captivity get cancer, but bears not in captivity do not get cancer.
So let's think about that. The bear in the zoo will get its food yes, but will it get all the food it will get if it was in the wild? No those bears in captivity will not get the same food as in the wild.
Bears like berries and those berries have seeds. Those seeds will have vitamin B17. Well, with all that vitamin B17 in the wild those bears will not get cancer as they are getting their vitamin B17.
That is an interesting thought, with enough vitamin B17 one can fight off cancer. Of course it is better to fight off cancer when it is small.
So God gave us the answer to cancer from the beginning.
Let's end with a scripture, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Hosea 4:6.
