As the sun goes down it is getting cooler. A breeze comforts my face. So I see my garden. My Swiss Chard is going to seed. Yes I must save the seed as there is always opportunity to plant again.
As the sun goes down I see its light through the trees. Oh how the trees love its light. It was the warmth of the sun that woke them up after winter.
Even my fig tree is showing its first and second crop at the same time. How can I tell? Well, by the size of course. I will wait til it is it's time. I do remember the sweetness of it's fruit.
See the grapes growing on my orange tree? Even my neighbor wants to come an pick all the grapes that is growing on my orange tree. I told him that I would give him grapes.
I don't want him to just come over and take grapes, but I will share of the grapes that God has blessed me with.
See the telephone line being help up by a stick that is attached to a garden stake? Yes, I wrote about it before. It is hanging in there.
There is my white sage where the different types of bees come to gather its nectar. I always enjoy it when the bees come to visit.
See the solar lights that are attached to the garden stakes. Well they don't work anymore. Maybe the rechargeable batteries in them can only charge so many times, but at night when they used to shine bright, it was a sight to see.
There are many things that I have to do with the garden and I am still working on them. I have little tomato plants to put into pots. I had a hard time getting them started, but they have started. I will give a couple of them to my mom. They are of the Brandywine tomato plants.
I didn't grow them last year, but I thought I would grow them this year as they are a big type of tomato. It is all a work in progress.
Even my writing is a work in progress. I even wrote in a little different way then I used to, but sometimes a little change is good.
