I took this picture of the moon last night. See the near by star? It is all in the firmament. The firmament which is strong as a molten looking glass.
Why do I say that? Cause it is written, Hast thou with him spread out the sky, strong, as a molten looking glass? Job 37:18.
It would be good to look into the firmament. It was Wernher von Braun that gave us a clue. You see on his gravestone he left Psalm 19:1. Not the words of the scripture, but the book and its address.
So what does it say? As it is written, To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Psalm 19:1.
So Wernher von Braun wanted us to look into the heavens and the firmament. Isn't that funny? Wernher von Braun of NASA wanted to leave us a clue. You see he couldn't tell us while he was alive, but he did give us something to look into at his death.
What they teach us in school and what is true are two different things. The only way to find what is true is to break from that which they have taught us by questioning the teaching.
But can one really question without getting in trouble? Them that have power of this world needed to deceive. This way people will discard the scriptures. Even myself I would discard the scriptures or try to make it fit this way or that way.
It doesn't work that way. You can't try to make the scriptures fit in a certain kind of thinking. In my backsliding days I tried that, but I was wrong. This is when I repented, accepted Jesus again, then really look into that which has been written, it is the will of the Father.
The scriptures are the scriptures. There is another scripture to look at, as it is written, I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. Psalm 119:99.
So by meditating on the testimonies of God we will have more understanding than all our teachers. Let us always be meditating on that which is written.
That which is written, will put Satan in his place. Look how Jesus handled Satan, let's pull out a scripture, as it is written, And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:3-4.
Yes, Jesus answered Satan with that which has been written. That is the way that Jesus did it and Jesus is teaching us to live by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. It is so powerful.
Look at another scripture, as it is written, But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Psalm 1:2-3.
So we are to meditate on the law of the LORD and meditate on it day and night. By doing this you will be strong in that which is written. How can you answer Satan without even knowing your weapons against him?
It is written, And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Ephesians 6:17. So we go against Satan with the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. So that which is written can be used against Satan. Well, Jesus showed us how to talk to Satan and he used that which was written. Let it be our meditation day and night.
You know to have a firmament, the earth's shape has to be different from what they taught us also. As it is written, That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it? It is turned as clay the seal; and they stand as a garment. Job 38:13-14.
So here we find that the earth has ends. Also check out, turned as clay the seal. On a document you put on clay, then to make it official you used your seal and press it against the clay.
Well, what happens when you press a seal or signet to clay? Well, it imprints the seal as it flattens the clay and outward of the seal is created a border. Think about the earth that way.
Let's go back to the moon, the lesser light of the two great lights. The greater light would be the sun, but the lesser light is its own light. A light that is cooler in its light than in its shade. It is the complete opposite of the light of the sun.
Let's end with a scripture, And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: the stars also. Genesis 1:16.
