Another fire in the neighborhood yesterday, unfortunately. That makes three over the last five years or so. Too many without a doubt. Good news is no fatalies though.
It all started as I was coming home from a walk. I noticed an odd odour in the air, then saw smoke billowing up a few blocks away. Next came the sirens, and by the time I arrived in the area, the Fire trucks and Police were already there. First responders are so vital to our communities, and are much appreciated.
