Tutorial de dibujo: atardecer en la playa [Esp/Eng]

Hola comunidad @hivediy. Desde hace un buen rato no dibujaba un paisaje de la naturaleza, así que hoy les traigo uno que se me ocurrió hacer inspirado en un atardecer en la playa que tuve la oportunidad de ver hace un tiempo en Punta Arenas. Me pareció tan hermoso y único que quise retratar en un dibujo sus colores añadiendo también unas palmeras alrededor. Les comparto el paso a paso de cómo hacer este dibujo, espero que les guste 📸🌴🌊

It had been a while since I last drew a nature landscape, so today I’m sharing one I came up with, inspired by a beach sunset I had the chance to see some time ago in Punta Arenas. I found it so beautiful and unique that I wanted to capture its colors in a drawing, also adding some palm trees around. I’m sharing the step-by-step of how I made this drawing, hope you like it 📸🌴🌊

Los materiales que utilicé fueron mis colores, un lápiz, goma, sacapuntas y una hoja donde plasmaría mi dibujo.

The materials I used were my colored pencils, a regular pencil, eraser, sharpener, and a sheet of paper where I would create my drawing.

Primero tracé una línea horizontal que sería la línea de la playa, además una línea curva inferior para la arena. Luego el tronco de las palmeras que iban en la arena y el sol sobre el mar. Para detalles finales unas nubes en el cielo y unos pajaritos volando. Ya con eso tendría el boceto de mi dibujo a lápiz ✏️.

First, I drew a horizontal line that would be the beach line, plus a curved lower line for the sand. Then the trunks of the palm trees that would go on the sand, and the sun over the sea. For final details, some clouds in the sky and little birds flying. With that, I had the pencil sketch of my drawing ✏️.

Con un color negro, rellené los dos troncos de las palmeras, tratando de hacerlo en forma de degradado. También con ese mismo color dibujé la base de las hojas. Después a la arena le di color con marrón, haciendo un difuminado para que en la parte de abajo se vea más claro. Posteriormente, utilizando color verde, le di más detalles a las hojas y a la base de las palmeras en la arena.
Para comenzar con el mar, usé un color morado oscuro que quería en las montañas de fondo y así este color les daría profundidad. Para la base del mar, color azul clarito, dejando el medio sin colorear, porque ahí van otros colores que añadiremos luego.

Using a black pencil, I filled in the two palm tree trunks, trying to create a gradient effect. With the same color, I drew the base of the leaves. Then I colored the sand with brown, blending it so the bottom part looked lighter. Afterwards, using green, I added more details to the leaves and the base of the palm trees on the sand.
To start with the sea, I used a dark purple color for the mountains in the background, so that color would give them depth. For the base of the sea, I used light blue, leaving the middle uncolored because that’s where I would add other colors later.

Rellené esa parte que había dejado en blanco con un color amarillo clarito. Luego con naranja, remarqué el contorno del sol y también hice sombras en el reflejo del mar junto con el amarillo. Las nubes las hice con una mezcla de gris y azul marino.
El cielo fue la parte que más me gustó colorear. Inicié con amarillo en el centro, por donde estaban los pájaros. Por los alrededores un color rosado claro, que luego fui intensificando con morado y azul.

I filled in the part I had left blank with a light yellow color. Then with orange, I outlined the sun and also added shadows in the sea’s reflection along with the yellow. I made the clouds using a mix of gray and navy blue.
The sky was the part I enjoyed coloring the most. I started with yellow in the center, where the birds were. Around it, I used a light pink, which I gradually intensified with purple and blue.

Los colores me encantaron, el cielo siento que fue lo que hizo que este dibujo resaltara tanto, en combinación con el sol y su reflejo en el mar. Para hacer este tipo de dibujos hay que ir dejando que la mezcla de colores hagan su trabajo, porque un color por sí solo no dará estos tonos. Son la mezcla de varios colores que van logrando los resultados, un trabajo en equipo. Gracias por leer mi post. Hasta la próxima. 🌅

I loved the colors, I feel the sky is what made this drawing stand out so much, in combination with the sun and its reflection in the sea. To make this kind of drawing, you have to let the blend of colors do their work, because one color alone won’t give you these tones.
