Hello to the entire Hive Pets community.
I want to share an experience with my dog, Mili, who often has trouble interacting with people. She always barks a lot when she sees someone, and sometimes even chases them, which makes walks a bit uncomfortable, especially since some people get scared and think she might bite. I believe this happens because she spends most of her time at home and isn't used to seeing many people around. So today, I decided to do something different and take her for a walk at a shopping mall.

Every day, I take her out for a walk so she can stretch her legs and take care of her needs, but this time, I wanted the walk to have a different purpose: helping her get used to being around more people and feeling more comfortable in crowded environments. To make her feel safer, I carried her in a kangaroo pouch, which also helped me avoid carrying too much weight.

The first thing we saw was a display of paintings. Mili was calm, which surprised me a bit, though I know it was probably because I was carrying her.

Later, I decided to sit down and rest for a while. That’s when she saw another dog and wanted to approach and bark at him, but little by little, she started getting used to the situation.

Then, I wanted her to walk on her own outdoors, so we headed to the parking lot. Once there, Mili started running joyfully, watching the cars go by and exploring her surroundings. Eventually, after all the excitement, she calmed down and stayed with us.

It was a lovely experience, and I think I will keep taking her to different places so she can gradually overcome her fear of people. I’m sure that, with time and patience, she will feel more comfortable in busier environments.

I hope you enjoyed learning a little about our walk. See you next time!
