When you feel bored or procrastinating, make it an article. A friend (actually a stranger) just sent me a FB friend request some days ago and later added up with a message. She was in need of my help. I have talked about the four days mentorship program I had two weeks ago. Ok, she registered for it but missed out in the entire session. So what's she up for? Notes and the jottings I penned down.

I replied of getting her the help she needed yesterday and she also gave back an ‘I am grateful reply’. I thought it was going to be as easy as I was imagining but I can't just send out a rough, fast taken note that is well understood by me to someone else. I felt bored in the process and adding to that, I was trying to make the most of my day. I later sent her a message that I will be doing that today because I will have to arrange the writings and send it to her.

Today can and well, the transcripting boredness still continues until I had to think it out in another way; Dani, why not convert the entire thing to an article in the process. Great job! Using one stone to track down two birds. Below will be what I learned which of course I will be sending it also to a ‘stranger friend’.

HOW TO WRITE A GOOD PROPOSAL

DAY 1: STRUCTURE

I failed to write a note on Day1 since I had some misunderstanding in using the App at first time. The sound was mute and I was able to get back late to what the facilitator was saying. I will be sending some screenshots I could salvage in the process.

Day2: BRANDING AND BUSINESS CREDIBILITY

Branding is how people see, feel and remember your business.

N/B: Reputation - Experience - and Identity equals to branding.

WHY BRANDING MATTERS
*Helps stand out. * Makes customers *Build trust. * Allows you to charge better
KEY ELEMENTS

Brand Identity
-Biz Name
-Logo
-Color
-Font

Brand Voice
-How you communicate (friendly, professional, bold etc)

Brand Promise
-What customers expect from you.

Consistency
Same look, same message every (on all social media)

A LOOK AT CREDIBILITY

Do People trust you enough to buy from you? Credibility;
*Reduces customer doubts * Increase repeating customers * Promote long term business

HOW TO BUILD CREDIBILITY
*Be consistent *Use social Proof *Show your work *Be visible *Deliver quality *Be professional

Note

Branding + Credibility = Growth (Attracts). (Convince). (Good experience)

COMMON MISTAKES
*Inconsistency. *Over promising and Under delivering *Ignoring Feedback

DAY 3: HOW TO PITCH YOUR BUSINESS FOR FUNDING

Pitching is convincing, it is the act of explaining biz to a grant committee, an investor, a customer or a friend.

YOU PITCH FOR?
*Grant Application. *Investors. *Sales conversation *Even Social media

DAY 4: MARKETING YOUR BIZ FOR EXPONENTIAL GROWTH

I had many screenshots on this but this was what I was able to write.

The Core Mindset Shift; From ‘Skilled Person’ to ‘Business Owner’
Four Pillars Every Biz must master
Working in: Working on
The Marketing Engine: Product - Attention - Collect - Record .

To conclude, let me add, that's all I could jot down, I will be sending her some few screenshots too to also help in more understanding.

This is an article covered by dani-EL; a broad niche writer. I write on faith, life facts and daily living, business and economics, small scale and daily businessing, cryptocurrency and technology. And yes, I do cover articles on financial education and investment updates. And note, if I happen to be a financial adviser to you, the TOP financial advice should be ‘DYOR’ (Do Your Own Research), I can't afford to break your heart.
