Ok, I have been talking about the current grant I am currently pursuing. I passed the first lapse and he I am (actually we, because I am representing the company). Let me not talk much, see for yourself and rate me.
My grant pitching
My name is Daniel Effiong Asikpo, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Ani-Dani Integrated Services Ltd (Laundry, sewing, Branding and general contractors). We believe in team work, it has been our major strength this far.
How do you feel when a tailor/fashion designer or laundry personnel disappoints you? Ok, let's be calm, I hope I am not reminding you of a marriage occasion or a special ceremony you missed courtesy of ‘my tailor don do me’. The problem of delayed services is real. Have you ever cared to know why?; Lack of top notch machineries, lack of efficient power supply and lack of substantially skillful and professional working force. Of course for many of you, your fashion designer is just ‘him and his workshop. Ani-Dani Integrated Services Ltd is here to solve this problem and well I can add, not just nationally but replicate it globally.
How do we make money currently? A la carte service through our individual customers for laundry, sewing and branding services.
Clothing material Selling.
Contract and bulk services; school uniforms, group wears, occasion T-shirts that need branding services. Aside from wearable, we do also provide other laundry, sewing and branding services like pump cover sewing for instance. A sample of what you need and we commence from there.
Partnership deals; we are a collaboration mindset brand, we do liaise out deals with affiliates who are in demand for our machines to use for their urgent bulk delivery. It is smart businessing, everyone goes home smiling I guess. **Did you know the Nigerian Laundry industry was valued at roughly $490 million (N678 billion in approximation) as of 2025 and this demand is growing rapidly due to a rise in urbanization, home care services demand and available disposal incomes. Global research put this market growth at around $520 million by the end of 2026 ( this is roughly 12.5% compound annual growth rate). Think of what happens in the next five years to a decade.
How about the Fashion and branding industries too? Talking of this pair, it is a behemoth worth around $6 billion annually with appreciating growth courtesy of our rich culture, urbanization, global adaptation and demand for Nigerian products.
Nevertheless, many who are in this industry are making less of it. There have been flaws in-between (delayed services and business localization), something that many SMEs are victims of. You can't gain big in this industry until you have grown big.

How do we solve this? We are focused on investing in top notch machines, steady and reliable power supply and a skilled team to deliver exceptional services every time.
Our target is not just the Nigerian market, we aim to become a global supplier of fashionable wear but our first aim is setting standards here and replicate this in the global market. This will help boost our exportation strength globally.
This company will create a lot of room for employment. In short, we plan to turn many street tailors to skillfully made professionals who will be working in a convenient environment and satisfying pay. When we hit the global stage, we are talking of thousands gaining employment, training and exposure here; something very relevant especially to our youth as white collar jobs continue to diminish.
This grant will go a long way in our vision. We need more machines, we need more training and business exposure and we also need more working hands. Of course all this boils down to capital.
