Growth comes with understanding; it can be the room to tolerate, think with others, dialogue out a more suitable solution. The idea here is not basically about what suits you but what will move everyone along. I will be merging two articles into one in this context. Everyday we learn or should I say, get reminded of a much larger picture.
I told my niece, don't plan to learn from experience but rather by wisdom. There is always a need to leverage those who have gone ahead of you but the challenge is that we mostly ignore this. Or on another end, we weren't privileged to stay around those who were exposed enough to lead us.
It pays to be a good uncle; why hoard experiences especially from those in your very bloodline. I long to see our family line grow to become one of the most influential ones and it comes at the cost of waking and building the upcoming ones early enough. I didn't really have such an opportunity and I had to start paving the path. There is always a first person to everything I guess.
Talking of niece and nephews inclusive, this also opens up the knowledge that I NOW stay around in-laws and I am one too. One way or the other, I can be an insider as I get to sometimes see how they make decisions when I come around. Leadership, trust, care and accountability is one of those. Don't be too bossy, tricky, careless or unaccountable, it can lead to many family challenges.
I will be focusing on accountability since it is a core value in sustaining a good marriage. As an entrepreneur, I am still pushing on how to become very accountable to business. It is not easy especially when running on a small scale with so many demands in-between. Another thing to consider is this; accountability is beyond cash.
How about your business opening and closing time? Were you able to meet up with a scheduled pick up and delivery time?. How are you handling business facilities and equipment? How about good customer management? Accountability even on daily adverts and strategic marketing is also a point of concern.
Ok, let's get back into marriage. The same thing still plays out here. Although financial accountability is key, be sure to be accountable to many other vital things. When do you return from work? Is it the actual time or you mostly just decide to spend much of it away from home. Are you accountable for your words? One can say a good entrepreneur would make a good husband but there is likely to be enough arguments in-between. I know the likeliest; ‘he has much more attention on his business than the wife and children’. Let me not go much into that.
Without much ado, let me say, that's ALL folks. I hope you pick something from here to build your marriage or prepare ahead.
This is an article covered by dani-EL; a broad niche writer. I write on faith, life facts and daily living, business and economics, small scale and daily businessing, cryptocurrency and technology. And yes, I do cover articles on financial education and investment updates. And note, if I happen to be a financial adviser to you, the TOP financial advice should be ‘DYOR’ (Do Your Own Research), I can't afford to break your heart.
