Sleep is good! Sleep is good!! Advisable sleep time: 8 hours. There were times that 8 hours was even too short. I mean, how many turns on my bed before it's morning already. Ok, to even start with, this is me planning to sleep by 10:PM and wake by 6:AM. I don't even think a mother chicken will take such a risk.
The chicks under her feathers will have to adjust and at some point she just needs to keep her eyes open although might not even be seeing.
I am talking about responsibility here. Even when I feel very exhausted, I feel like querying myself for sleeping six hours straight. I feel so absent minded. I am not even pointing to waking up just to meet up with business schedules here; as a believer, be on your watch.
To even start with, it seems the people of this world are even much smarter. They understand the mystery of giving in the extra time. You can leverage your night if you want to. I can remember when I was growing up.
There were times I had no good phone and I used to think; when I get a better phone, I will play all the video games I want to, watch all the movies I want to, spend time on the internet and so on. The bad side of it was that all these were desires to feed the flesh.
Many youths have become victims and to make the matter worse have delved into addicted gambling and pornography. Here I am, there is no vibes for that. My entire phone, there is no single game to start with and same goes with my laptop. I can't remember the last time I watched a movie with my phone. Appetite have died and I am now channeling all these energy to live out value for my generation and beyond.
Ephesians 5:15-17 NIV Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, [16]making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. [17]Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.
That time can be put into prayer time, how about bible studies or just listening to a sermon that can help inspire my spirit. Our Lord Jesus commended we should be on our watch day and night. It also opens the door to becoming an intercessor in your generation.
In conclusion, when comes purpose, then comes irritation. We have to learn how to spend every day of our lives wisely, let's not forget the countdown as we can widely assimilate.
