Hello dear friends of the community
@c-venezuela , with much pleasure I put my post full of lots of beach, sand, sun, breeze and wonderful sunsets that gave me my beloved Venezuela in 2015. It fills me with pride to show the beauties of our country, Here I show you the island La Tortuga is an island in the Caribbean Sea belonging to Venezuela, geographically you can find it leaving from the town of Higuerote. Miranda State.
Voy a buscar la palmera
que se quebró en tu cintura
voy a sabanear la garza
que ensimismada se azula
a la orilla de tus ojos
jagüeyes de ondas tan puras
Voy a rastrear la tonada
que tu fina voz modula
voy a pastorear el verso
que con tus labios se endulza
I'm going to look for the palm tree
that broke at your waist
I'm going to savannah the heron
that, engrossed, is bluish
on the shore of your eyes
watering holes of waves so pure
QuoteI'm going to trace the tune
that your fine voice modulates
QuoteI'm going to graze the verse
that with your lips is sweetened
I chose to begin with these lyrics by Simón Diaz because it reminds me of that moment of the trip when the breeze and the palm trees of that beautiful island seemed to break in every gale...
The sound of the breeze and the palm trees was really delicious and it was getting louder and louder.
During the day there was a great closeness to the sun, the first hours of the morning were clean, sunny. Because the nights were really cold. Only the moonlight gave us some clarity.
The colors were clear, iridescent and splendid.
The water was totally crystalline, even the animals that lived there shared with the tourists their mood, happiness and enthusiasm for the island and all its divinity...
This beautiful animal chased me for a long time because it wanted the red float of my aquatic camera. I had to get into the water and that's where he forgot about my float. This part of my adventure was very comical. It was like watching a bull in his act looking for the red flag.
But with no way out, I had to sacrifice myself and sink into deep water.
Where I visualized corals, rainbows of fish and secrets of the sea that no one else will ever discover. There I asked him to take away my sorrows and fears that everything he was giving me was more than enough to be happy.
The little green that was there was beautiful, it looked like a unique grass created for that island, it had a luminous and delicate color of a small structure but abundant in roots and splendor. The combination with the sand and the dewdrops was more and more beautiful. You had a place to sit and play, to create, to make art. I made a tower of stones that few people could do that day.
You had to fill yourself with calm, deep breathing and a lot of concentration to do it.
While I was doing my work my thoughts were only related to thank the divinity of that paradise for being able to be in time and space, with all my being and my being. Thanking my health, my physical and mental state to enjoy my paradise. Because yes, I made it mine for a whole weekend. It was totally an energetic recharge.
In the afternoon I decided to go for a walk and get to know the island, discovering every little hole in its immensity was really valuable for me. At the end of the island there was a house, there lived an old man about 85 years old who fished, prayed, did yoga and raised the flag of Venezuela and also took out the flags of Isla la Tortuga so that the tourists who frequented the island would never forget where it is, the country where it comes from and what we must preserve. That is how I discovered this beautiful character that filled me with tenderness and more addiction for this wonderful island that we have in Venezuela.
He had his little boat and only allowed us to take pictures, because he said he was too old to take pictures with someone as young as me at that time.
Today I regret not having taken a picture of his story made wrinkles in his skin.
QuoteSince 2015 I haven't gone again but that's why you always have to take pictures to remember and make stories like these come true....

People gathered on the shore of the beach to take pictures of this beautiful moment. I, from my chair, in front of the pennant that the old man placed every day, took this last picture with which I say goodbye.
By the way, I traveled with responsible people from the marina in Higuerote.
